Timeline
One space in Manhattan, then a slow and steady expansion.
2006

Pocha 32
Late-night Korean pub and soju bar
The first space, and still the loudest. Praised by the New York Times, a Koreatown pocha serving Korean bar food and fruit soju until the small hours, largely unchanged since 2006.
2018

Gopchang Story BBQ
Korean BBQ specializing in gopchang-gui
Grilled beef intestine cooked at the table, the way it is served in Korea. The staff work the grill so each cut is served at the right moment.
2019

Gopchang Story Flushing
Korean BBQ specializing in gopchang-gui
Due to the overwhelming success of our Manhattan branch, we expanded to Flushing. Same grill, same cuts, more space.
2024

Barbam
Korean fine cocktail bar
A speakeasy bar in Manhattan Midtown built around Korean ingredients. Every cocktail carries a story. Fox Rain was curated so when holding the glass to your ear, it sounds like rain on a cold Seoul night.
2025

Seoul Sweets
Modern Korean dessert boutique built on rice
Rice cake re-invented as pastries. Frontrunners of the New York Ssal-cakes, no wheat, alongside einspanner, teas, joo-ak and yak-gwa. Two floors, right on Fifth Avenue.

JuDam
New York's first Korean odeng bar
Traditional Korean food reinterpreted modernly, and fresh odeng pulled from the broth in front of you, paired with a sake and soju list that takes itself seriously.
